How to Build Your Own Notebook

Supplies Needed
- Notebook craft template
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- White copy paper or construction paper (optional)
Step 1: Color the pieces
Write your name on the notebook label. Then, color the notebook cover, spiral binding, label, and pencil with crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
Use your favorite colors to create your own notebook design.
Step 2: Cut out the pieces
Use the dashed lines to guide you while cutting out each piece. It’s completely fine if there’s a little white space, especially around the coils.
Step 3: Add the spiral binding
If you’re using a background, glue the notebook cover onto the paper first. Then, glue the spiral binding piece on top of the left edge of the cover.
If you’re making a standalone notebook, glue the spiral binding piece directly on top of the left edge of the cover.

Step 4: Finish your notebook
Glue the name label near the top of the notebook cover. Then, add the pencil wherever you’d like to finish your craft.
