How to Build Your Own Crayon

Supplies Needed
- Crayon craft template
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- White copy paper or construction paper (optional)
Step 1: Color the pieces
Write your name in the center of the crayon label. Then, color the crayon body, tip, and label with crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
You can make your crayon any color you like!
Step 2: Cut out the pieces
Cut around each piece using the dashed lines to help guide your cuts.
It’s fine to leave a little white space around the edge.
Step 3: Add the crayon tip
If you’re using a background, glue the crayon tip onto the paper first. Then, glue the main crayon piece on top so the tip sticks out from the center.
If you’re not using a background, glue the tip behind the top of the main crayon piece.

Step 4: Add the label
Glue the personalized label onto the front of the crayon to finish your craft.
