How to Build Your Own Toucan

Supplies Needed
- Toucan craft template
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- White copy paper or construction paper (optional)
Step 1: Color the pieces
Color the toucan’s body, beak, wing, and branch piece with crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
Toucans have colorful beaks, so have fun trying different color combinations.
Step 2: Cut out the pieces
Next, cut out all your pieces.
Take your time around the eye, but remember it doesn’t have to be perfect. A small white border is totally fine.
Step 3: Add the branch
If you’re using a background, glue the main body piece onto the paper first.
Then, glue the branch piece across the bottom of the body so the toucan’s feet rest on the branch.

Step 4: Finish your toucan
Glue the beak onto the front of the head. Then, add the wing and eye to finish your toucan.
