How to Build Your Own Worm in an Apple

Supplies Needed

Step 1: Color the pieces

Color the apple, stem, leaf, and worm with crayons, markers, or colored pencils.

Apples come in shades of red, green, and yellow, but you can choose any colors you like!

Step 2: Cut out the pieces

Use the dashed lines as a guide while cutting out the pieces. It’s completely fine if this leaves a white border, or you can cut closer to the solid lines if you’d like.

Step 3: Add the stem

If you’re using a background, glue the stem onto the paper first. Then, glue the apple on top so the stem sticks out from the center.

If you’re not using a background, glue the stem behind the top of the apple before moving on.

Step 4: Add the leaf and worm

Glue the leaf near the top of the apple beside the stem.

Step 5: Add the worm

Glue the worm anywhere you’d like on the apple to finish your craft.
