How to Build Your Own Basket of Apples

Supplies Needed
- Basket of apples craft template
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- White copy paper or construction paper
Step 1: Color the pieces
Color the basket, apples, basket handle, and basket liner with crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
Apples come in shades of red, green, and yellow, but you can choose any colors you like.
Step 2: Cut out the pieces
Use the dashed lines as a guide while cutting out the pieces. It’s completely fine if this leaves a white border.
Step 3: Glue the basket handle
Start by gluing the basket handle onto a sheet of paper. Leave enough room below it for the basket and apples.

Step 4: Arrange the apples
Glue the apples onto the paper so they overlap inside the basket handle. Use the finished picture on the printable as a guide if needed.

Step 5: Finish the basket
Glue the basket piece over the bottom of the apples so it looks like they’re sitting inside the basket.

Step 6: Add the basket liner
Finish by gluing the basket liner across the top edge of the basket.
Optional: Once the glue has dried, you can cut around the outside of the finished basket if you’d like a standalone craft.
