How to Build Your Own Fish

Supplies Needed

  • Fish craft template
  • Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • White copy paper or construction paper (optional)

Step 1: Color the pieces

Color all of the fish pieces with crayons, markers, or colored pencils.

Fish come in all kinds of colors and patterns, so you can make yours look realistic or use any colors you’d like!

Step 2: Cut out the pieces

Next, cut out all of the pieces.

Don’t worry about cutting perfectly on the lines.

It’s completely fine if there’s a small border around the edges.

Step 3: Put the fish together

Glue the top and bottom fins behind the fish’s body.

Then, glue the tail behind the right side.

Step 4: Finish your fish

Glue the eye onto the fish’s face.

Now your fish is finished!
