How to Build Your Own Cat

Supplies Needed
- Cat craft template
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- White copy paper or construction paper (optional)
Step 1: Color the pieces
Color the cat’s head, body, ears, tail, and front legs with crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
You can color the pieces to look like your favorite cat or create a cat with completely different colors and patterns.
Step 2: Cut out the pieces
Next, cut out all of the pieces.
Don’t worry about cutting perfectly on the lines.
It’s completely fine if there’s a small border around the edges.
Step 3: Glue the back pieces first
Glue the ears behind the cat’s head so they peek out from the top.
Then, glue the tail behind the body.
If you’re using a background, you can glue the ears and tail directly onto the paper before adding the head and body. Just double check to make sure it will line up first.

Step 4: Finish your cat
Glue the head onto the top of the body.
Then, add the front legs to finish your cat.
