Printable Build an Acorn Craft
This little acorn has the cutest face, and kids are going to love it!
There are only three pieces to cut out, so it’s a great one to start with if your preschooler is new to “build-your-own” crafts.
While you work, you can talk about how acorns are seeds and can grow into oak trees.

How to Build Your Own Acorn
Supplies Needed
- Cute acorn craft template
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- White copy paper or construction paper (optional)
Step 1: Color the pieces
Color all of the acorn pieces with crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
You can use different shades of brown like the picture or choose your own colors and make it fun.
Step 2: Cut out the pieces
Next, cut out all three pieces.
Step 3: Start with the bottom piece
If you’re using a background, center the bottom acorn piece on the page and glue it down.
Step 4: Add the cap
Glue the acorn cap across the top of the bottom piece.
Step 5: Finish your acorn
Glue the stem onto the top of the cap.
Now your acorn is finished!
