How to Build Your Own Jack-O’-Lantern

Supplies Needed
- Jack-o’-lantern craft template
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- White copy paper or construction paper (optional)
Step 1: Color the pieces
Color the jack-o’-lantern pieces using crayons, markers, or colored pencils.

Step 2: Cut out the pieces
Cut out all of the pieces along the dashed lines.
Step 3: Start with the side pieces
Glue the two rounded pumpkin pieces onto your background with the straight edges facing each other. Leave a little space between them for the rest of your pumpkin.
If you’re not using a background, glue the side pieces to the back of the center.

Step 4: Add the center of the pumpkin
Glue the large pumpkin piece in the middle, overlapping both side pieces.

Step 5: Add the mouth
Finish by gluing the mouth below the jack-o’-lantern’s nose.

Now you have a smiling jack-o’-lantern!
