Printable Build a Football Craft
Football season and fall go hand in hand!
With this cut-and-paste activity, kids can color the pieces, cut them out, and build their own football.
This is a great one to have ready for fall themes or football season in preschool or kindergarten.

How to Build Your Own Football
Supplies Needed
- Football craft template
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- White copy paper or construction paper (optional)
Step 1: Color the pieces
Color the football and its pieces with crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
You can use traditional brown and white or choose your favorite team colors.
Step 2: Cut out the pieces
Next, cut out the football, two stripes, and laces.
Don’t worry about cutting perfectly on the lines.
It’s completely fine if there’s a small border around the edges.
Step 3: Start with the football
If you’re using a background, center the football on the page and glue it down.
Step 4: Add the stripes
Glue one stripe near each end of the football.
Try to line them up so they follow the curved edges.
Step 5: Finish your football
Glue the laces across the center of the football.
Now your football is finished!
